“I don’t like cliché pictures, like for weddings or baptisms … I only do them for my loved ones, when I can feel the moment’s vibrations and immortalize the emotions they inspire,” Magaly Boulogne says. The photographer likes snapshots more than set up poses: “the less you pose for a picture, the more beautiful it is,” she believes. Her philosophy, “A picture is worth a thousand words,” is reflected in an aesthetically natural rendering both in daily life situations as well as extreme sports. To be at the center of action, MagGwadlOOp follows, from the inside, world-class events in sailing, motorboating or motocross: Mercury Day, World Windsurfing Championship, Karujet … The artist creates captivating portraits in sports as well as fashion. Her enthusiasm for our islands is such that her schedule is full, despite strict selection: “If I don’t feel it, I won’t commit …”, she says with confidence.

Her new passion is promoting the Antilles by shooting charming residences. From the precious Creole hut to the high-end villa, she captures beauty and truth wherever they are, “as long as they have a soul …”, she adds. Constantly pushing her limits, Magaly Boulogne is already taking up another challenge: aware of the evolution of practices and with a background in digital marketing, she has become the digital manager of major brandsinGuadeloupe.Theynowdisseminate their image on social networks through MagGwadlOOp’s lens.
