The international brand Green Motion, specialized in the rental of premium and ecological vehicles, keeps expanding in the Caribbean. After Martinique, its new location has opened in Sint-Maarten.
RESPECTING THE ENVIRONMENT ~ Green Motion stands out in the car rental market, with its premium brands and ecological models. “We offer in particular vehicles that emit less than 135 g of carbon per kilometer,” explains Jhemyli Delbrun, the franchise manager. All-electric BMW i3 and MINI, like the BMW hybrid ranges, are among Green Motion’s flagship offers.
EFFICIENCY IN THE CUSTOMER JOURNEY~ In addition to environmental quality, Green Motion is also characterized by its adaptating to the target. Aimed primarily at a business clientele, often in a hurry, efficiency is the key word in the rental process. “The system is entirely managed by smartphone,” describes Jhemyli Delbrun. «Clients can perform all the steps prior to the rental, and they don’t have to wait»: Checking the vehicle, opening, starting and returning it at the end of the rental period are organized independently. Green Motion frees them from the constraints often associated with car rental such as the need to refuel before returning the vehicle. «Our system is designed for executives and business leaders, who during a one-off trip need efficient and quick access to a reliable and comfortable vehicle.»
AWARENESS OF ISSUES ~ Other targets are being aimed at, such as passing visitors, including stopover cruise passengers, «who sometimes now don’t want to leave a strong imprint on the island ecosystems they visit», Jhemyli Delbrun rejoices. Beyond visitors, Green Motion hopes to raise awareness among local populations on the importance of using this type of vehicle, especially since the stakes are also economic: “The cost of renting an electric car is lower than one with a combustion engine. Fuel too,” underlines Jhemyli Delbrun.
