The SXM Festival, created in 2016, is above all the story of enthusiasts who, after decades of experience in music production, D’jing culture and musical media, naturally formed a team to create their kind of event. The goal is to have, in our sunny lands, an ever wider audience and a unique musical experience in its scope.
Festival-goers now come from all over the world to dance until dawn and listen to superstar DJs. Richie Hawtin, Black Coffee, Nina Kraviz, Jamie Jones, Bonobo… (to name but a few!) have already come to St Martin / Sint Maarten, and most want to come back!
Geographically, the whole island vibrates from coast to coast for 5 days and 5 nights while festivities take place on beaches, boats, villas, clubs and other secret afterparties, indoors or under the sky! On stage, the creativity of international artists and decorators working with natural and recycled elements will amaze many, especially on the main stage located in Happy Bay.
Indeed, the SXM Festival shares “eco-friendly” values with the mission of leaving each site even nicer after the party. Part of the ticket income is dedicated to improving the environment, the local economy and the quality of life of the locals (beach cleaning, construction of playgrounds in schools, planting trees, etc.).
The festival will take place from March 9 to 13, 2022, and as always have a line up with recognized DJs, new talents and local artists.
