SXM FESTIVAL : THE PLACE TO BE FOR ELECTRONIC MUSIC

SXM Festival : le rendez-vous incontournable de la musique électro

A week of world-class electronic music in some pretty exceptional places, some with surrealistic décor: All at the SXM Festival, which takes place on March 8-12, 2023 across the entire island of Saint Martin.

Five days and five nights of musical discoveries in fabulous locations: a landmark event for fans of electronic music, the SXM Festival returns on March 8-12, on both the Dutch and French sides of the island. This musical mix of Caribbean, French, and Dutch cultures features 35 countries and the best talents of underground electronic music on the planet. Black Coffee, Nina Kraviz, Ame, DJ Tennis, Ricardo Villalobos, Marco Corola, Blond:ish, Jamie Jones, Bonobo, Loco Dice, WhoMadeWho, Richie Hawtin, and others who were popular in prior editions of the event.

Among the places on the roster, the legendary Happy Bay, a private beach nestled in the jungle, as well as Boho Beach Cub, a perfect spot to relax during the day, and the Villa Party, accessible only with a VIP ticket: A subtle blend between modern design and luxury as experienced by film idols and the jet set in the 1960’s. Those with VIP tickets will also have access to exclusive zones with luxurious set-ups at Happy Bay, with priority bottle service, an area to relax, a VIP bar with specialty cocktails, and more. They are also guaranteed access to limited-capacity exclusive satellite events. That the case with the Panorama Party, a fête at the summit of the highest mountain in Sint Maarten and the Boat Party. This year, a new Catamaran Cruise will take 100 people to some incredible spots with food, drinks, swimming, and a surprise DJ.

By renting a villa directly through the SXM Festival, the organizers promise additional advantages to guests such as private transfer from the airport, VIP parking at Happy Bay, a welcome service, a dedicated concierge, a photo shoot, a stylist before the festival, and a backstage visit.

For this sixth edition, the event continues to follow the environmental philosophy and respect for its host island. The organizers are committed to leaving the smallest possible footprint and to help revitalize natural environments: dematerialization, planting of palm trees, energy economy with LED and solar lights, elimination of plastic throughout the festival, and collaboration, as every year, with local artists.
