FEMININE ENTREPRENEURIAL WEEKS: BNP PARIBAS ANTILLES-GUYANE SUPPORTS YOUTH

A partner of the 100,000 Entrepreneurs Association for the past 10 years, BNP Paribas took part in the Feminine Entrepreneurial Weeks, which were held from March 6 to 24, 2023, with a special accent on youth.

During the recent Feminine Entrepreneurial Weeks, collaborators and clients of BNP Paribas presented their professional career paths in the form of speed-meetings with young people. “Throughout the year, BNP Paribas engages with young people and organizes activities in schools in Martinique and Guadeloupe, and particularly during the Feminine Entrepreneurial Weeks,” explains Alice Gardan, Responsable Communication BNP Paribas Antilles-Guyane..

The first day of this nationally organized event was held on March 6 at Villa Chanteclerc in Martinique and at the Baimbridge High School in Guadeloupe. In addition, awareness events were held on the morning on March 10 in the BNP Paribas offices, at the Centre d’Affaires Entreprise, and the Dillon Private Bank Center in Martinique, as well as the Caribbean ZEBOX incubator in Guadeloupe with young people from LGT Faustin Fleret in Morne à L’Eau. The main goal is to put an end to “the belief that certain professions are reserved for girls and others for boys,” explains the 100,000 Entrepreneurs Association, organizers of this event, which celebrated its 11th edition this year. Since 2013, more than 5,500 women have shared their experiences as part of this operation that has helped raise awareness for more than 125,000 youth in France and the Overseas Territories.
